As a parent of a daughter who has ADHD, I found this article a bit interesting. I don't know if the research will lead to a cure, or even a fix, but I post the link because I think that medicine can be an amazing art.

Ummmmm, okayyyyy. Yeah.
Well the post has been around for 50 years, which isn't in any way comforting. I wasn't a huge fan of the U.N. before reading this, and I'm even less of a fan now,

Rush---Time Machine Tour--Houston TX 9/25/10
I case you haven't guessed, I am a Rush fan. Saturday night my beloved fiance' took me to see their concert.
I almost lost my voice with all of the screaming.
Needless to say, Getty, Neil and Alex were the awesomeness!

Kitchen Adventures
Turns out that I'm enjoying this at-home-mom thing way more than I thought I would. My house is semi-clean (although, a house will all wood floors is a pain, I can't tell you how sick I am of having to dust mop twice a day!), and I get to indulge in something I really enjoy; cooking.
Having recently discovered the joys of cooking shows (they're even re-running old episodes of the Galloping Gourmet!) I have developed a girl crush of sorts on Giada. Last night's dinner pleased even my fincky children!
Chicken Scallopine with Saffron Creme Sauce
Crostini Alla Romana
and my own addition of Spinach Salad with Bacon and Vidallia Onion dressing....
Here are pics of dinner (from Giada's page on Food Network), and the recipes can be found at the link below.

Like everyone in America, at least those of us who watch the news, I'm sure you are aware the "comedian" Steven Colbert "testified" in front of a congressional hearing yesterday on immigration "reform". The Boston Herald gives it a mention; Professor Tobe Berkovitz thinks it's a "sad commentary". I have to agree with him. I thought Elmo's testimony was a joke, is nothing considered hallowed anymore? Apparently not in Washington D.C.

Remember Mad-Libs?
Well, Iowahawk has revived that classic from my middle school days, and applied it to Dear Leader and his speechmaking skills. Hit this link....and don't have anything to drink while you read it, as I am not responsible for any monitor damage that may occur....

Liberal outlets try to nab John Boehner for infidelity before midterm elections - NYPOST.com
Is there NO originality in liberal circles? Hollywood is remaking classics, and adding PC twists to them, television is mostly insipid; now we have this. Give me a break.

The Virgin Post, or This Guy Rocks!
My first post! I know that my husband won't be jealous if I say that I think Chris Christy is sexy, because he has a man crush on the governor too!
My question is, will he eventually run for President? Maybe not 2010, but later. He's young enough.
